A true love story for the ages, where every detail whispers of sentiments of a classic romantic wedding.
Caroline, a financial adviser and Jason, a software engineer, met in high school but really became friends during their freshman year at college. Their love story officially begins when they started dating as juniors, in 2013.
With their love for travel, in 2022 Jason and Caroline went on a ski trip, or according to Caroline a “vacation,” to Telluride with their closest friends. Which is famous for their public transportation gondola system that takes you from the mountain down into the town of Telluride. Stopping at the San Sophia Station, they all hopped off for group pictures. Since this was not out of the norm, Caroline was surprised to learn they were all in on Jason’s big proposal! He popped the question and after the official “Yes” they were able to celebrate in town with dinner at 221 South Oak, and later to a Jamestown Revival Concert.
The Estate at Independence is the perfect backdrop for a classic, romantic story for the ages. The impressive estate building, nestled among the rolling hills of the course provide a beautiful backdrop with spectacular sunsets. View Angie & Adam’s wedding for another look at the venue.
The neutral tones of the Estate at Independence and floor to ceiling windows make this venue the perfect backdrop to set the tone of a romantic evening. Setting the tone for a classic romantic wedding with dusty blues, whites, and muted colors creates an atmosphere of timeless elegance and understated beauty. These soft hues evoke a sense of calm and sophistication, perfect for a celebration of love and commitment.
White roses combined with pops of yellow and muted greenery make for the perfect bouquets complemented by dusty blue accents in the form of bridesmaid dresses, crisp white table linens, and decor. Pink Peony Florals and Design did a beautiful job brining this style to life. Muted tones like dusty blues and soft greens can add depth and warmth to the color palette, creating a romantic ambiance that is both charming and inviting. Overall, this color scheme sets the stage for a wedding that is effortlessly chic and filled with timeless romance.
Dusty blues, muted greenery and the classic romantic white danced throughout Caroline and Jason’s momentous day.
Caroline’s dress was stunning. Known for her ethereal creations that blend modern elegance with timeless sophistication, Jenny Yoo’s wedding dresses are a dream come true for brides seeking a romantic aesthetic.
Accentuated by a romantic look from PoshBrideVa, jewelry from Brilliant Earth and shoes by Badgley Mischka, Caroline’s look was a modern take on old Hollywood glamor.
The wedding party completed the look with dusty blue, floor length gowns from JJ’s House, and quite dapper attire from Jos A Banks.
The couple chose to embrace the first look: a modern romantic wedding tradition that allows the couple special, one on one time together before saying the two words “I do.” This also frees up time after their ceremony for portraits with their friends and family. Admittedly, this is one of my favorite parts, the look on Jason’s face when he first saw Caroline melted my heart.
With the beautiful crisp backdrop of the Estate at Independence, the ceremony was romantic, and altogether, an essence of their long-lasting love for each other.
Filled with timeless elegance and heartfelt moments. The reception at the Estate at Independence was adorned with soft, warm lighting and lush floral arrangements in shades of green, ivory, blue, and champagne.
Guests are treated to a gourmet meal featuring classic dinnerware, served with impeccable attention to detail. The decadent dessert bar featured custom cookies and macarons to mark the day. Staying true to Caroline and Jason’s love for golf, the guests were given golf balls in remembrance of their union.
As the evening unfolds, the newlyweds share their first dance to a romantic melody, surrounded by loved ones. The reception was a reflection of the couple’s love story, filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
