This past month, I had the privilege of hosting a whimsical Spring wedding editorial at The Estate at River Run in Richmond, Virginia. The entire setup, curated by All The Dainty Details, was blossoming with delicate details inspired by romance and Spring blooms.
The team at All The Dainty Details selected an elegant letter-pressed invitation suite from Patrice Papier. The Camilla suite, printed with gold taupe ink, included a vellum jacket, gold wax seal, and hand-dyed silk ribbon. The thoughtful details, including a custom venue illustration and intricate floral crest, added a level of classic sophistication to the otherwise whimsical editorial.
Society 11:11 styled our bride’s make-up and voluminous high pony. A half-up and half-down bridal style is always a timeless choice.
Our bride wore a stunning off-the-shoulder Stella York dress from Tiffany’s Bridal. Our groom was dressed in a classic black suit, adorned with a floral pink pocket square, provided by Jim’s Formal Wear.
With stunning staircases, glamorous crystal chandeliers, and exquisite ballrooms, it’s no wonder The Estate at River Run delivers on so many timeless and elegant affairs.
The King’s table was set up outside on the venue’s upper terrace, overlooking the James River. Featuring BBJ La Tavola’s Lennox Lotus Table Linen with Water Lily Overlay, Lennox Lotus Napkins, and Starlight Gold Pearl Charger. The table scape would not be complete without our White and Gold Trieste Dinner Plate, Juliet Gold Salad Plate, White and Gold Hampton Flatware, and Melodia Glassware from Rent-E-Quip.
A perfect balance of whimsical and organic flowers were executed flawlessly by Fleuressence Floral Design. The variety of heights and textures they used, from the elevated centerpiece to the simple bud vases and taper candles, truly brought our Cherry Blossom vision to life.
The full table scape beautifully showcases a modern approach to classic romance.

The elegant White Estate Bar, adorned with a light and airy floral wallpaper and show-stopping bar flowers by Fleuressence, was set on the pool deck. The production team enjoyed signature cocktails – “Her Blossom” and “His Bliss” poolside, basking in the warmth of the Spring sun.
The pink ombre wedding cake by Wild Flower Bakery was eye-catching! Our favorite part was the darling ruffles, mimicking the shape of a flower blooming.
A grand entrance (or exit) is not complete without a Vintage Bentley. With The Estate at River Run’s long driveway and lush front lawn, we took full advantage of utilizing this space for our couple with their decorated car from RB Vintage Car Service.
